I slowly go behind my mother and blindfold her eyes.

Vihaan and Tara were shocked to see me.

I signaled them to keep quiet and they understood.

Mom asks in horror, "kon hai, or ye mere aakho mai patti kyu bandhi ?"

Vivaan and Tara try to stop laughing.

Mom says, "Vivaan... Tara...tumne mere bacho ko kaha rakha hai .kahi tum kidnappers to nahi ? dekho mujhe chod do nahi to Mera bada beta aakar tumhari khoob kuttaayi karega ?"

I also tries to stop laughing because Mom looked so cute.

Then I hold her hand gently.

Mother says, "HeyBhagwan ab kha leke jaa rehe ho mujhe ."

I said nothing, just takes her into the hall and makes her sit on the sofa.

And sit infront of her .

I tell Vivaan softly,"I want you to open the blindfold when I signal you."

He shows me his thumb and says, "Okay, bhai."

Then I signal him with my thumb and he opens Mom's blindfold .

Mom slowly opens her eyes and as soon as she sees me, she hugs me tightly.

"Happy Birthday, Mom." That was an emotional moment for me.

I can't hold back my tears.

Mom caresses my cheek and says, "kha tha tu ?ab tere pass mere se baat karne ka time bhi nahi hai ."

"Sorry, Mom. I wanted to surprise you." I didn't have to do all that. , Agar aap kaho to Mai uthak bethak bhi lagane ke liye taiyar hu ."

I started squads holding my ears, then Mom picks me up by my shoulders and says, "bss! kya kar raha hai. Tu agaya naa meri saari naarazi bilkul choomantar hogyi ."

I hug Mom again, and she rubs my back.

Then I broke the hug and says," aapke liye mere pass ek or gift hai ."

Mom Says,"Gift?"

Hmm, I grab a box from the table and give it to Mom.

Mom opens the box and getting shocked.

Mom says, ", diamond set." beta yeh to bhut mahnga lag raha hai.

Me to mom ,"Mom, I'll get you a 10 diamond set like this. Or waise bhi apne hi kaha hai naa ki gift dene wale ka price nahi Niyat dekhte hai. Aap ye sab chodhyiye or batyiye gift kaisa laga aapko .

Mom says, "Very beautiful." But will you give me one more gift?."

"You say something and I'll say no. Can this ever happen? Tell me, today is your day. ".

I can't refuse my mom ,especially today, on her special day.

Mom started in calm voice,"Your grandmother 's last wish was that you marry her friend's granddaughter."

I was stunned.

I tried to give reasons her. "Mom, you know very well , I don't want to get married yet."

Mom says ,"I know, beta but I'm not asking for direct marriage yet. I'm just asking you to meet her atleast once.

Mom , please understand.

Mom says," Beta please tum samjho mujhe , I want daughter-in-law, and your grandmother's last wish was that you marry her friend's granddaughter."

A lot of time passed, mother was adamant on her words, I kept trying to convince her.

Then, I finally had to say" yes".

My mother's joy knew no bounds.

My younger sister started teasing me."Bhaiya ! , soch lo pata chala ki aap hi aarahe ho maa ke pass ki mujhe shadi karni hai to ussi ladki se karne ( in dramatic tone).

" Are u mad Tara, I'm just going there to meet her, not to get married."

I turned toward mom and said, "I'll meet her if you ask, but I can't give you fake hopes that I'll say yes to this marriage."

Mother confidently replied,

"It's okay, just meet her once, then you'll come forward and say yes to this marriage."
