9.Mehendi=Misunderstanding💚

In the Morning,

Haldi will be held during the day, and Mehndi and Sangeet at evening to night.

We both get ready and come to the hall where all the elders and elderly women praise our beauty.

Then our Haldi ceremony begins.

My mother and grandmother become very emotional and their eyes become moist..

We both also got emotional .

In the evening,

I watch the sunset from the window and think that this is my last sunset in this house.

I take a deep breath and mutter that "now my family, my surname, my relationship, everything will change. I don't know why people say thpat girl After marriage one becomes a stranger to one's own parents, which I find to be the most useless mentality."

A little while later,

I'm ready for the mehendi and go to my sister's room to call her.

She gets ready too.

We both go down to the hall where the women and older women play the dholak and dance.

On the other side, the mehendi artists also come.

My mother says to us, "Achaa hua tum dono aagyee mai aane hi wali thi bulane , chalo ab jaldi betho or mehandi lagwalo ."

We nodded.

And sit next to the mehendi artist.

Mehendi artist applying mehendi on me .

It's a beautiful mehendi.

The mehendi artist asks, "What's the groom's name?" I smile.

Then I'm about to say, "... I see a daksh, I am shocked because Our families had ritual that Groom doesn't meet the bride before marriage day ,I whisper "Daksh" I get lost in thought, what is Daksh doing here?".

I get up to ask him, then Mehndi artist stop me and says ,"please ma'am it is going to get over in some time."

I sit down and nodded.

I look again after some time, but he's no longer there.

Mehndi artist, look, ma'am, it's done.

As I'm admiring my mehndi, my eyes fall on a letter drawn in the middle of the design.

I snarls, "What did you do?"

The mehndi artist asks, wide-eyed, "Yes, ma'am, what happened?"

Pointing at the letter in my hand and says, "What is this? Why did you write this letter?"

She explained "When I asked what your future husband's name is, you said Daksh."

I apologized to her with regret, "I'm sorry, it was my mistake. Is there a way to correct this? Can we write 'A' instead of 'D.'"

She denied then she suggest that she can certainly cover it with a design.

I take a relief breath and says, "Okayy, then do it please."

She immediately hides the letter 'D' in the design.
